Driver — first shift in five minutes

Step 1 — 1 min — Open Fleet Go and sign in

1. Tap the Fleet Go app icon on your phone. (Need to install? See Install Fleet Go and sign in.)
2. Sign in with the email and password your dispatcher set up for you. There's no "Forgot password" link inside the app — if it's lost, ask your dispatcher.
3. Allow Camera and Notifications when Fleet Go asks for them — these prompts come the first time you swipe to start a shift.

Step 2 — 1 min — Swipe to start, scan the QR

1. On the Shift tab, drag the green Swipe to Start Shift slider all the way across.
2. Point the camera at the vehicle's QR sticker, or tap Select manually to pick from a list filtered by VIN or plate.
3. Confirm the make, model, and year on the Vehicle Inspection screen, then tap Start Inspection.

Step 3 — 3 min — Six photos, in this exact order

1. Walk around the van. Shoot in this order: Dashboard → Left Side → Front → Right Side → Back → Cargo.
2. After each photo, tap Confirm to keep it (or Retake if it's blurry — Fleet Go won't auto-detect blur). On the sixth photo the button reads Finish.
3. On the Inspection Notes screen, type a quick note or tick No issues found, then tap Start Shift.

Step 4 — if something happens — Report an incident

Pull over first. Then:

1. Tap the Report Incident floating button at the bottom of the screen (only visible when a shift is active).
2. Pick a category: Minor Scratch, Major Damage, Window, Tire, or Other. Then work through Details → Description → Location → Photos → Review.
3. Tap Submit on the Review step. Your dispatcher is notified instantly.

Step 5 — End of day — Swipe to end

1. Park at the depot. Drag the orange Swipe to End Shift slider across.
2. Add optional notes on the End Shift Notes screen, then tap the orange End Shift button. Done. (Full checklist here.)
