Why photo review matters
After every shift, the dispatcher compares the inspection photos with the previous shift and gives the shift one verdict. This is the chokepoint that catches damage early — and the record that settles the argument later. For the full dispatcher workflow, see Photo Review (dispatcher).
Open the review list
- In the sidebar, click Inspections. The badge counts the shifts waiting on you.
- On the Shift reviews tab, the Pending Review list groups shifts under Today and Overdue. In each group, shifts the AI flagged come first.
Review a shift
- Click Review on a row. Each angle of This shift sits beside the same angle of the Prior shift.
- Click Flag this photo on any frame that shows a problem.
- Choose one verdict for the whole shift in the decision bar, add a note if you saw something, and click Submit Review.
| Verdict | When to use it |
|---|---|
| OK | No damage detected. The vehicle is cleared for the next shift. |
| Suspicious | Possible damage. Flag it for follow-up without escalating yet. |
| Damage | Confirmed damage. Needs at least one flagged frame; submitting opens a recovery case and the incident wizard. |
To work through the whole list in one go, click Launch queue at the top of the page. In the queue, press 1 for OK, 2 for Suspicious, 3 for Damage and Enter to submit.
Shifts the AI flagged move to the top of each group. Don't skip them — the longer damage goes unrecorded, the harder it is to assign responsibility.
The real value of consistent reviews
Photo review isn't busywork — it's the foundation of your fleet's accountability. When every shift is reviewed within a day, you can:
- Pinpoint when damage occurred — down to the shift and the driver.
- Build a visual timeline of each vehicle's condition over weeks and months.
- Show a timestamped review record to auditors and insurers.
- Improve driver care — drivers who know every photo is reviewed treat vehicles more carefully.
Set a personal target: clear the pending list before lunch every day. A clean list by noon means your fleet's damage window is never more than half a day.
