The Analytics page
Click Analytics in the sidebar. The page shows your fleet's numbers for a chosen period — Today, 7D, 30D, 90D or 12M — across five tabs:
| Tab | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Overview | Fleet utilization, fleet status, the activity timeline, live operations and the open signals that need attention. |
| Operations | Shifts, jobs, schedule adherence, on-time rate and proof compliance. |
| Fleet | Vehicle utilization, mileage, cost distribution and service status. |
| Incidents & Costs | Incident trends, damage costs by vehicle, driver and month, insurance recovery and repair workflow. |
| Drivers | Driver scorecards, the leaderboard and activity patterns. |
Analytics requires the analytics_enabled module. Without it, the page shows a preview instead of your data. The cost breakdowns on Incidents & Costs also need the cost analytics module; without it, that section shows what it would unlock.
Export the numbers
Click Export at the top right of the Analytics page and choose Export as CSV or Export as PDF. Use the export for monthly cost reports to your accountant, insurance documentation or internal reviews.
Build and save a report
The fastest way to a custom report is to start from a tab you are already reading. The Overview, Operations and Drivers tabs each end with a link that opens the report builder with that tab's data already in place.
- On the Overview tab, scroll to the foot of the page.
- Click Create custom report with this data. The report builder opens, named after the tab, with the Overview blocks already placed.
- To add more, click a block under Data blocks on the left — for example Jobs timeline under Operations. A block on the report carries a tick in the library.
- Choose the period at the top — Today, 7D, 30D, 90D, 12M or Custom.
- Click Save in the top bar.
- Enter a Report name and, if you like, a description. Tick Share with my organization if other owners should be able to load it.
- Click Save template.
To open the report again, click Load in the builder's top bar. Your report is listed under My templates.
You can also start from an empty builder with Custom Report at the top of the Analytics page, and add blocks from the library one by one.
Starter templates
The Load dialog also offers Starter templates to begin from:
- Fleet overview — KPIs, the activity timeline and fleet status
- Cost analysis — incident cost by vehicle, driver and month
- Driver performance — scorecards, top performers and an operations summary
Export a report
Export in the builder's top bar downloads the report as a document. In a PDF, charts are exported as data tables.
Why analytics drive better decisions
- Without analytics, decisions rest on gut feel and the loudest complaints. With them, you can see which vehicles cost the most, which drivers have the strongest records, and where your money actually goes.
- Cost tracking turns incidents from one-off events into data. Over a quarter you see whether repair costs are trending up or down and how much insurance recovers.
- Driver scorecards give you a concrete basis for conversations with drivers: specific shifts, jobs and incidents instead of impressions.
Recommendations
- Save a report for each recurring review — a weekly operations check, a monthly cost report — so the same blocks and period are one click away.
- Export the monthly numbers on the first business day of each month and archive them. That trail helps in budget planning and insurance renewals.
- Review the Incidents & Costs tab before meeting your insurance broker. A fleet that handles incidents promptly and keeps costs trending down has a case for a better premium.
