Download the app
The mobile app is published as Fleet Go by Elevera. It's the same name on both stores.
- iOS: Search "Fleet Go" in the App Store, or ask your dispatcher for the direct link.
- Android: Search "Fleet Go" in Google Play, or ask your dispatcher for the direct link.
When you launch Fleet Go you land on a sign-in screen titled Fleet — Driver Portal.
- Open Fleet Go after installation.
- Enter your email address and password in the Welcome Back card. Your dispatcher creates the account from the web dashboard, so use the email they invited.
- Tap Sign In. If anything's wrong with the credentials, the app shows a red error banner — re-check the email and try again.
There is no "Forgot password" link inside Fleet Go yet. If you don't know your password, ask your dispatcher to reset it from the web dashboard, or contact Elevera support. See Troubleshooting & FAQ for the full recovery flow.
Permissions Fleet Go asks for
Fleet Go does not ask for everything at once on first sign-in. Each permission is requested the moment the app actually needs it, so you decide in context:
| Permission | When the prompt appears | What it's used for |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | When you start the QR scan to begin a shift, and again at the inspection photo step | Scanning the vehicle QR code, capturing the 6 inspection photos, and any incident photos |
| Notifications | When you swipe to start a shift | Push messages from your dispatcher and shift-related alerts |
| Location | When you reach the Location step inside an incident report | Attaching GPS coordinates and a reverse-geocoded address to the incident |
Fleet Go does not continuously track your position in the background — location is only read in the moment, on the screens that need it.
If you accidentally deny a permission, Fleet Go will retry the prompt the next time you reach the same screen. To enable a permission you've already permanently denied, open your phone's system Settings → Fleet Go → Permissions. See the in-app settings article and Troubleshooting & FAQ if you can't get past a permission screen.
Why Fleet Go matters
Fleet Go is your digital logbook. Every photo you take, every shift you complete, and every incident you report builds a record that protects both you and the organization. When a damage dispute arises weeks later, the inspection photos, GPS-stamped incident reports, and shift timestamps prove what condition the vehicle was in during your shift.
Tips for a smooth start
- Allow Camera and Notifications the first time you swipe to start a shift. Without Camera you can't scan the QR or shoot the inspection; without Notifications you'll miss dispatch messages.
- Location is only needed if you actually report an incident. You can leave it off until then.
- Keep the app updated. Enable auto-updates in your app store so you always have the latest version.
- Bookmark this help center. You can read it anytime at

What's next
Once you're signed in, the Shift tab opens with a green Swipe to Start Shift slider. Drag it across to scan your vehicle's QR code and begin the 6-photo inspection.
