Your first login
Navigate to your organization's Fleet URL and sign in with your email and password. If this is your very first login after accepting the invitation, you are taken straight to the dispatcher dashboard.
Why the dispatcher role matters
You are the operational backbone of the fleet. Drivers depend on you to schedule shifts and resolve issues quickly. Owners depend on you to keep inspection queues clear and incidents documented. A well-run dispatch desk reduces vehicle downtime, catches damage early (before it escalates), and builds the data trail that protects the organization during insurance claims and audits.
Quick tour of the dispatcher sidebar
The left sidebar is your primary navigation tool. It is split into two sections: Primary and Secondary. On mobile devices the sidebar is hidden behind a hamburger menu in the top bar — tap the menu icon to open it, and it will slide in from the left.
Primary navigation
These are the sections you will use most frequently throughout the day:
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Your home screen with KPIs, incident alerts, shift compliance, and live driver statuses |
| Jobs | Delivery and dispatch jobs with stop-level tracking and proof of completion |
| Incidents | Every reported vehicle incident, from new reports to closed cases |
| Vehicles | Your full fleet registry with health scores, maintenance status, and incident history |
| Photo Review | Shift inspection photo queue — your most important daily task. Shows a pending count badge when reviews are waiting |
Secondary navigation
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shifts | Calendar view of all driver shifts with per-day counts and inspection photo details |
| Schedule | Weekly planner for creating upcoming shifts and assigning drivers to vehicles |
| Maintenance | Service reminders, maintenance history, and recurring templates (requires fleet_maintenance_enabled) |
| Parts Inventory | Spare parts stock tracking, searchable by vehicle (requires fleet_maintenance_enabled) |
| Users | View all team members in your organization — drivers, dispatchers, and owners |
| Profile | Edit your personal details: name, email, and phone number |
| Settings | Manage custom vehicle status definitions used across the fleet |
As a dispatcher you will not see billing, organization setup, audit, or analytics sections. These are managed by your organization's Owner. If you need access to any of those features, contact your Owner.
What to do next
Your first priority after logging in should be checking the Photo Review queue for any pending shift inspections and reviewing the Dashboard for open incidents and shift compliance alerts. The following chapters walk you through each section in detail — start with Dashboard Overview to understand how to prioritize your daily work.
